Dinner on Monday

Walked home aft wrk on Mon...juz to bring alicia out wif me...actually i wanted her to go by herself to meet me n Sis, haha, but dat's impossible...we went to the ulu bras basah to have her fav 'cha jiang mian' at tian jin guan....usually i shld b hungry at dinner time...but due to an 'output overload', i couldnt absorb much input...hahaha...anway we were also there for sis to choose her baby g watch so dat i can get it for her as a bd present

Over the weekend...

i was really overwhelmed with work since my leave...whole week i worked non-stopped on the preparation of the ml and also out almost everyday...really horrible...hopefully it's better nx wk onwards..

really did luk forward to the wkend...was @ holland v with cousins on sat...muching away on snacks n unhealthy stuff...went to meet pris on sun...indulging in jap fd n coffee again....we are really lazy ppl, hahaha

the incident of the mauling of the zoo worker by the white tigers has been an hot issue recently.....personally, from my viewpoint, the public is not being fair to all parties, especially the tigers...some members of the public, but not all, are blaming the tigers for mauling a human to death, some are blaming the zoo for not acting appropriately...so whose fault is it??

the white tigers of the zoo (omar, and sisters jippie & winnie) were actually send from one of the indonesia zoos, a few years ago, probably around 1999...white tigers is actually a rare species as compared to the more common tigers.... omar was actually one of the animals being considered for the singapore zoo icon after ah meng's death....

the main issue that i would like to point out, the tigers reacted in the most natural way in this case, what else can they do when a person intrude into their area and starts to agitate them...of coz, the natural prey-predator instinct would cause the tigers to see a person as their prey...omar was actually not involved in it....on the other hand, winnie and jippie mauled on the worker with their paws which was enough to cause much damage...the tigers which were captive animals from young would definately avoid humans and not attack them unless when aroused by them...

please be fair to the tigers in this unfortunate incident!!!!

Weekend after exams!!!

this is my first weekend aft exams...freed from assignments, studies..hahaha!! yippeee!!! im really relieved aft d mess i created for my thesis report...got myself into trouble for late submission,,but all is fine now, i hope so...i dun want to be penalized for 8mths of hard wrk on the entire research juz because of 10mins late

we went to d fd fair at expo yesterday..hehe, greedi ppl r we...expo, memories, i was there last fri for exams...which i believe i have done badly, n most probably fared badly...a D should b attainable though which is obviously nt what i want

talking abt d fd fair...we had dozens of yummie fd, cheese hotdogs/balls, hk mianxian, honey ji pai, otah, satay, kong bah pao, tutu kueh (choco flavour, which sis, alicia n me luvs, n d traditional coconut which irene likes), takopachi, mr bean tao huay, soya bean drink wif pearls n soya yougurt icecream (which all of us dun like, except alicia) on d way hm, we bought potong icecream n d cutee ang ku kueh

Weekend @ Changi Airport

again, i shld b studyin at hm..but ended up going to changi airport wif irene, alicia n sis...it's ok, changi airport is a conducive plc for studying..a pity dat i brought my notes wif me, but didnt touch it at all...had dinner at swensons, as usual, irene wants to share, but i refuse, coz i won hv enuff again...haha, so i got my wish, plenty of food, n in fact too much food...

well, d main thing was our dessert, we were so attracted by d new item-mudpie on d menu...so we ordered it n a topless 5, but ended up they dun hv dat new item...why on earth did they put it in the menu then...irks, we r urgin for mudpie now...anyway, we juz mk do wif d topless 5..im nt used to sharing it though, coz usually i hv d whole 5 scoop of icecreams to myself, whahaha..

in order to satisfy our craving...we went around luking for coffee club...for my fav muddy mudpie...keke...at last we found it...aft walking round T2 n T3...keke..it's really cozy there.... n we had trouble goin hm in d end...coz we can't find irene's car in d carpark...however, kudos to d excellent memory n analytical mind of our 12 yrs old gal-alicia for finally finding d car bk n sending us home safely.. :P

Friday's dinner

Went for dinner at NanXiangXiaoLongBao with Priscillia...finally managed to meet her aft much obstacles...haha, coz i always postpone our appointments so dat i can fin my thesis (but im still stuck with 20%completed & 80% of wrk to be continue)...so im nt progressing at all..which left me wif 2 wkends left to complete 6000wrds....dinner wasnt really great, we then went to J Co..to sit for the rest of the night,coz we r two lazy bums whom refuse to walk, whahaha...i reali like d plc, d sofa, d ambience...nice environment for studying too...a pity gwc doesnt hv a branch, orelse i wld b stuck there everyday

Good times @ ktv n dinner

I spent d whole afternoon yesterday wif irene n sis at chinatown k-box...had a hard time finding parking lots so we took half an hr fr our plc to rch there, haha...2.30 to 6.30...whole 4 hrs...keke, n we were like feasting inside rather than singing...munching on d tibits non-stop n keep calling for refills, n irene even smuggled a mac meal inside...wif a burger n fries, haha

aft ktv, went liang court to shop ard n dinner at tempopo..my long awaited treat dat i hv been longing for...it's famous for d 'stressless' black pigs. whahaha!!! we had tonkatsu ramen (turn up to be so spicy), katsu don, cold soba, desserts: milk tea pudding (nt my type, but both of them luv it, orange dessert (luks cute, n it taste reali gd), n chocolate chiffon ( i wanted cheese but it was sold out, muz b too delicious)..

so on d whole, i enjoyed a relaxing sat again...juz to reward myself from d extremely stressful of wrk n studies...bk to wrk now

Last week of enjoyment

it's aredi oct 5, 1 mth away from exams n dissertation deadline, so desperately lagging behind...

this wld practically be my last wk of relax time...finish watching 家好月圆, at least 1 burden off...a good show indeed...went prawn fishing last wk wif pris...a gd experience although i dun reali know wat im doing, hahaha, n met up wif two of my close ex-collegues(intan & dze leng) for buffet lunch at royal hotel..hehe, i went bk ofs yesterday..but most hv knocked off...so didnt see anybody else except both of them n d security guards, hehe

ok, officially closed myself from all temptations fr today, this moment onwards.... concentrating on my dementia essay due 10/10, oral presentation on 16/10, exams on 7/11, 6000 -10,000 wrds/at least 40 pages of dissertation report on 10/11...byeeee, from this minute onwards
