long time since i ate a buffet, hehe..or nt reali dat long, ard 4 mths..tis time we went to hi-tea at Sheraton fr 12 to 4pm...i wasnt really hungry, until i tried the desserts, which was really appertisting, no doubt :P...i do like the ambience there, n definately d service was good...main course nt bad too...we had popiah, carrot cake, rojak, laksa, etc...n wat was unique was the vietnamese style rice roll wif duck meat n mango sauce...but i was really interested in it, rather that the chuwanmushi.... have always liked chuwanmushi, n tis was good, wif a generous servings of mushroom n crabmeat...on d whole, i had 6 bowls of it...oops...high cholesterol, but i couldnt resist it..except dat i made a fool of myself while attempting to 'move' the hot bowls
the main attraction was definately the desserts there, in petite sizes served in small glasses, containers, etc...(haha, i duno d right word, oops).. i luv the lil glasses of raspberry jelly (i had 2) though, n there was scones, sandwiches (quite diff fr usual), durian pengat ( which i tried it once in merchant court buffet too), choco fondue, raspberry cheese, chocolate cakes, cheesecakes, traditional kuehs-kueh dada, ondeh2,etc, n waffle wif icecream...yum yum...
i would definately come back again for its desserts...:)
